Cracklestar dragged Pinepaw into his den and dropped him on his bed. He sat down. "Now, what was it you wanted to discuss?"

"How to put it.........." Pinepaw examined the den not meeting Cracklestar's eyes. He then looked at him ignoring the stinging coming from the gash on his flank. "I want to join WindClan."

Tenarist poked her head in, and then shrugged herself into the den, crowding it. "I told you I would follow you, Pinepaw." She looked at Cracklestar. "Hey! You're that mangy cat I saw at the pool thing!"

Tenarist barked, making the den shake and little crumbs of dirt fell. "Join! Join!" she chanted, teasingly.

"When did you get here!?!" Pinepaw asked Tenarist. "And I am planning on joining... if he lets me." Pinepaw rolled his eyes toward Cracklestar.

"Um ..... okay... Do you have a plan of explaining this to Shadowclan? Anyways, welcome to Windclan, Dustpaw! I suspect Largestar, Shiningheart, and the others won't be too happy.... But oh well.

'Thank you so much!" Dustpaw nearly hit his head on the roof of the den when he bounced in excitement. "I will do my best to honor and serve WindClan with all my energy and heart!" He mewed, determinedly.

Cracklestar looked at Pinepaw, "I hope you do as you say, happy to have your enthusiasm. Training starts.. Ummm... Err.... Sometime soon! In the meantime, I imagine you've traveled a long way through the night. You must be tired. Go get some rest in the apprentices den."

Dustpaw nodded. "Thank you, Cracklestar." Dustpaw waved goodbye with a flick of his tail and padded out of the leaders den. His wound stung again. I'll take care of it later... he thought. Now all I need is sleep...
