Nightstar gave a hiss, and yowled as she leapt down from the branch. "ENOUGH!"
She leapt into the fray, attempting to pull Cracklestar off of Tenarist, and to shield him from the angry dog.
"This is the night of the Gathering!" she hissed at both of them, fangs bared. "You at least, Cracklestar, should know that fighting is forbidden tonight, and I should think that this kind of squabbling is included! And Tenarist, you need to learn that if you're sticking around!"

Tenarist's ears twitched and she stood there standing still. Then without hesitation, she flung her head side to side shaking her neck, and slammed onto the ground on her side. "Get off!" she howled.

OOC: Oh gosh. Where is Largestar?? I want to be at this Gathering!!! Urgh. You know what, I'm coming anyway.
IC: Fogcloud sprinted over the tree bridge onto the island. "Sorry we're late. I ran ahead to tell everyone that Largestar should be here soon and the reason we are late is because there was..." she trailed off as she noticed the tenseness on the island. Then she noticed the dog.

Tenarist looked over at the new cat as she smelled it. She got up and shook her neck rapidly trying to free herself from the other cats' grasps and then howled "Just get off now before I have to rip you off!" She hit the cat on her neck with one of her large paws, and then stopped again noticing that he wasn't going to let go.

Dawnflower looked up and noticed that the moon was half covered. She tried not to notice. The struggle was to much she gave Nightstar a scared look and gestered her tail at the half covered moon.

Rainstar yowled as she jumped of next to nightstar, "ENOUGH! This is the gathering, lets not forget the truce"
Rainstar jumped in to the fight and bat Cracklestar and Nightstar away from Tenarist "THERE SHALL BE NO MORE FIGHTING AT THIS GATHERING" she yowled at them, fangs bared.

Dawnflower looked up at the moon and saw it had uncovered a little. "Starclan is angry". She yowled. "We shall not fight". She looked up and saw the moon had uncovered a bit more.

Nightstar dipped her head. "See? We shall not fight." she growled. "I don't care if she's a dog, Cracklestar, this night holds a truce to all. If it was something attacking us, that might be different, but Tenarist is not intending to do us harm unless we harm her first. As for you," she hissed, rounding on Tenarist, "if you are to live near us, you must respect our ways. I know that you are not of a Clan, but you must respect the truce. Now, can we continue in PEACE?" she bristled.

Tenarist looked shocked. "But I am a dog, not a cat! I have no truces," she wailed. Then she turned and shook herself, bleeding on the neck from where she had been attacked.
"If you want a truce with me, it'll be if you can find me after I leave here!" with that, she ran off quickly toward the Twolegplace Alleys.

Nightstar watched Tenarist run off, and to her it looked like she was going back to the Twolegplace. After a few minutes of staring, she mewed "I suppose that's just how it goes. Dogs and cats just aren't meant to be friends. And it looks like she'd never accept our ways."
Feeling somewhat numb inside, she leapt back onto the branch. "Come on, let's keep this going so we can finish before moonset. Now, who's next?" she yowled.

Nightstar briefly looked over towards the apprentice that had just crossed over to the island, and then hissed. "Dawnflower is right. StarClan has spoken! This meeting shall come to an end!"
Then, her gaze sweeping over all of the other Clan cats, she mewed "Just remember StarClan's warning about the poison," and then leapt down from the branch in a dignified way. "Come, Dawnflower. It's time to leave," she meowed gravely to her medicine cat.
She then leapt onto the log bridge, and crossed, on her way to her territory once more.

Fogcloud frowned. As soon as she had gotten here, the Gathering had come to an end. She padded across the tree bridge and headed back to her own territory, planning to meet Largestar on the way and tell him what happened.
