Nightstar huffed for breath as she leapt onto the log that formed the bridge to the island. She carefully padded along it, making sure she did not trip, and then crashed down onto solid ground.
She then leapt up onto the tree that the leaders stood on, and waited for the other Clans to arrive so the Gathering could begin.

Inershia stealthily stalked around to the branch and hobbled on. She felt it quivering beneath her paws, and she fell off, landing on her back and letting out a huge puff of air. She let herself lay there for a second, then hopped up and shook ferociously. "HIYA!" she wailed. Then she pricked her ears, listening for any other cats. "Are we the only ones here?" she growled in disappointment. Then, without letting Nightstar speak, she hopped into the bushes and poked her muzzle out.
"I will spy!" she declared, clearly being heard thrushing among the bush and panting, letting her tongue loll.

Nightstar raised her eyebrow (as much as cats can do, anyways) amusedly. "Do what you like." she mewed. "You realize that they will easily scent you, though, if any of the others even show up and are paying attention."
Then, she gave a mrrowing laugh. "I don't know how they'll react to you being here, but I assure you, I will tell them of our agreement before they even think of attacking and whatnot."
Then, she hissed. "All of the others are LATE."

Um Nightstar only 4 out of 6 of my clan members have RP'd yet and I don't even think they're aware of the gathering so this isn't the best time.

T_T We really need a gathering, though... and none of my Clan are active except me and Dawnflower, so you shouldn't complain... DX

Cracklestar walked across the fallen tree to get over the "moat" around the island. The moon was full, just as it was at any other gathering. He stopped and tasted the air. Cracklestar smelt something he didn't like... then he lept into a nearby bush and crawled out dragging a female dog on the ground by her tail. He walked to the edge of the island and tossed her into the water. "We have dogs spying on us now?! What next?! Will Starclan send wild cats down from the mountains," the tom hissed.
He jumped up onto the tree, next to Nightstar. "Ho, Nightstar," he said in a friendly voice," Who've you brought with you?"
*In case you're wondering, "Ho" is a slang term. It's sort of like a greeting. I got it from the book "Ender's Game," I'm not calling Nighstar a......Well........Yeah....

Nightstar greeted Cracklestar warily. "Greetings," she meowed in a cool voice. "This is Inershia. I'd appreciate if you wouldn't attack her, she's obliged not to with ThunderClan, but I wouldn't put it past her to take a chunk of your fur out if you treat her like that."
She then resumed a lighter tone of voice. "I don't think that you should feel threatened, though. Inershia is a friend. Of ThunderClan, anyways. You needn't be hostile towards her unless she gives you a reason. Now, I will explain more once everyone else is here."

Smokepaw ran after her leader and tumbled in to the clearing "Oops hi" she said shyly and she backed away and sat next to Cracklestar.

Rainstar walked across the fallen tree to get island. The moon was full. She stopped and tasted the air. Rainstar smelt something she didn't like... then the bad feeling comes back. She shook her head to push the feeling away and padded on.
She spots Nightstar and Cracklestar. She jumped up onto the tree brach, on the other side of Nightstar. "Hello, Nightstar, Cracklestar," she said in a friendly voice, "Sorry for being late."

Nightstar nodded to Rainstar. "I see we aren't the only ones with few Clan-mates following us," she mewed. Flicking her ear as if a flea had landed on it, she purred at her old friend as she leapt up beside her.
"So, how goes things in RiverClan?" she inquired. "Wait, you can tell me when Largestar gets here and we start." she meowed.

Nightstar gave a laugh. "I suppose so, that's what I've been beginning to think. Moonhigh is approaching, and soon we may need to start without him..."
She then eyed Smokepaw. "So, is this your apprentice? She looks like she has the makings of a good warrior." she commented.
"What is your name, apprentice?" she asked Smokepaw warmly. "I'm sorry that your first Gathering has to be so delayed. That tom Largestar is always late to things like this if you ask me."
