Gone patrolling (and fishing too... >_>)

Nightstar paced up to the border, fur fluffed out to keep warm. The snow was coming down more quickly now, and her breath was visible as she exhaled. It indeed was leaf-bare...

She clawed a few trees, and left her scent in other places. Then, she turned her attention to the stream. A few silvery fish were flashing through it, and Nightstar sat on the bank, not letting her shadow fall onto the water. When one came near enough, she flicked out her paw, and a fish splashed onto the bank.

It's...freezing! she thought, and almost yowled aloud too. Then, shaking her head, she picked up the fish in her mouth. Good thing that I managed to figure this out on my own...I don't think RiverClan, the only other cats I know of that can fish, would be too willing to teach me... same thing with my swimming.

Nightstar then took off towards the camp, running quickly through the brush.

Those two posts were not Rping, right? Just a comment? Anyways, in reality I love the water, so my charrie can swim and fish despite being a ThunderClan cat. I learned on my own with a few tips from Rainstar (Rainpaw at the time, if I was correct on the history) cause I met her as an apprentice and we became quick friends despite being in different Clans.
