Neither of you are really roleplaying how you are supposed to....
Look at the threads Honeymilk and I have posted RPing in, that might give you an idea.
Or look at a different site that has RPing for some examples.

That's funny, he thought, I could have sworn I just heard Shiningpaw and Firepaw a minute ago. Oh well. Largestar pads over to the Tallbranch, still thinking of where his two apprentices could be. Probably finding something strange to bite down on...

Morningpaw was sitting in a tree when he saw his brother Firepaw and then jumped down right next to him "hello Firepaw what are you and Shiningpaw doing"Morningpaw said and then picked something up and threw it to Firepaw "thats something i had over at my spot in the den its food i figured since your nicer than me and like kits better than me you could help them find some food and help give them some of that food so go ahead Firepaw"Morningpaw said and then ran off into the forest

Pads in from the apprentice's den. Looks around the camp. "Hmmm... no ones around." "I thing I see largestar at the tall branch, better go check it out." Shiningpaw said to himself. Shiningpaw pads toward the tall branch.
