Nightstar yawned. Blinking her eyes sleepily, she grumbled. Time to get up, organize the patrols, and-
"Wait, we have virtually no warriors..." she hissed. "That means I need to lead the patrol with those apprentices... If they're even up. Time to wake them..."
Stretching, she stood up, shook her fur, and blearily padded out of her den onto the Highledge.

Nightstar paced into her den, a freshly-killed squirrel in her jaws. She laid herself down on the ground, setting the fresh-kill in front of her. "Thank you, StarClan, for this prey's life, and for the meal I will make of it."
She then began to hungrily tear at the squirrel, figuring it might be the last meal in a day or two because of the scarcity of prey, and the others had to eat too. She had lives to spare if the worst came to worst, but she hoped it wouldn't go that far.
She stopped eating, and growled. She hoped Inershia would abide by her word and not take too much prey, especially at this time of year... but she figured that the dog was honorable enough to hold to that.
Bending her head over, and finishing the squirrel after several mouthfuls, she let out a rather contented sigh, and then padded over to her mossy nest. Curling up with her tail over her nose, she closed her eyes, and let sleep wash over her.
Nightstar padded through the forest. She shivered. I think I'm dreaming... she thought. Yes, that must be it. I was just in my den, after all.
She continued on, until she saw something glittering up ahead. Quickening her pace, she walked up to it. It was a cat, blue with a slight silver tinge around her muzzle. "Who are you?" Nightstar inquired, dipping her head in respect to the cat, who looked as if she had stars in her fur. "Are you a StarClan warrior?"
"Yes..." the cat replied in a warm voice. "I am Bluestar, leader of the ThunderClan of long past. I am here to show you something..."
"Bluestar..." Nightstar murmured. She had heard tales of this great, wise leader, who was said to be one of the most renowned cats of ThunderClan that had ever lived. Even though she had gone a bit mad in the end, they had said. "What is it?"
"We have seen the dog that has come onto your territory..." she hissed. "Inershia, was it? Are you sure it is wise befriending a dog, letting her hunt and stay on your territory?"
"Inershia is not like the rest of the mindless mutts that the Twolegs keep. She is intelligent and friendly." Nightstar replied calmly, meeting Bluestar's stony gaze.
"I thought you might say that..." Bluestar mewed. "Well, then, I must show you what I have came to show you..."
She padded on, and led Nightstar east, towards the WindClan border. Then, she sat down, and indicated a hole in the long grass growing in patches around them. A small hole, bigger than Nightstar, but still not much larger than the entrance to a badger sett, was there in the ground, sloping down into who knows where.
"What is this?" Nightstar asked.
Bluestar looked into the hole. "This is the hole... into the caves. The ones that you spoke of today when talking with Inershia. I came here alone today, to tell you this... it may come in handy for the future sake of the Clans, who knows? But even StarClan can not see that late into what is to come..."
With the end of her words, they began to echo, and everything around Nightstar began to fade, as she fell into a deep, dreamless slumber once again...

OOC: That's not how ya roleplay. Please read the post in news like I've asked in its title.
IC: Nightstar sprung up, yowling at the noise. "What? Twoleg stuff? In the camp? Where? What is it?"
She didn't wait for a reply, and charged out of her den.
