This is the thread that hopefully will help some forum RPing novices. If you have further questions feel free to post.
First of all, in an RP area when you make a thread for an RP be sure to type whether it is for anyone to join or for a certain group of people. If anyone's allowed to RP in it, be sure to type OPEN after the title so people know.
If you want it to be private, type the other people's name after it.
Secondly, be sure to talk in third person. It's much easier.
Third, don't forget that you can make your posts longer than a couple of sentences if you want!

Hey Nightstar, i'm one of the new joiners, wildflower. I was wondering if the rpg was up,(I know the news dosen't say but just in case) and how to get to the rpg part, thx!

The rpg part is the places that say thunderClan territory, camp, shadowclan territory, camp, etc. And no, the RP isn't up yet... Oh, yeah. You still need to register your character. And your name needs to be Wildpaw instead of Wildkit or Wildflower, since currently you can only start as an apprentice. Sorry!  |

Um Nightstar when you say third person you mean like speaking as if you were narrating it?

Basically. Like "Nightstar paused, and sniffed the air, the cold, crispness of it overcoming her momentarily. "It's getting close to leaf-bare..." she muttered to herself. "I just hope that ThunderClan can find prey enough for all of us to survive... I've never lead us through leaf-bare before, so it would be reflecting poorly on my leadership if we had too much difficulty..." She sighed, and went back to tasting the air, eyes shut, scenting for prey. Nothing. Hopefully the others have found something... she thought disappointedly, and quietly padded on in her hunt." Something along the lines of that would make a good short post. They can be longer, or a bit shorter, but nothing like the old site where *walks in* and "Hi!" would be sufficient posts. It's sort of like interactive and unpredictable storytelling, with more than one person telling it. After that post above, another member that was in the hunting party of that thread might post, etc.  |

Sort of, cept you write it along with us, and it's unpredictable, like the story just kind of pops into your head bit by bit instead of all at one time or so... All in all, true that. XDDD Why do I keep feeling like saying that...  |
